Music

Violin, piano and recorder are offered to students from Junior Infants on an individual and group basis in the schools fully equipped music room. Music foundation classes are available for Kindergarten children allowing them to experience music before formally taking up a specific musical instrument. The emphasis is on making music and having fun using a variety of materials which keeps the lessons interesting.  Everything is done on a gradual basis, and because the lessons are group based, there is a great sense of rapport among the girls. We like to have the girls perform for each other, the school and their parents. This helps their confidence and enriches their experiences as musicians
