Communication
Our methods of communicating with our families are many and varied, depending on the circumstance, and include the following..
- Written note in the school journal
- Weekly notes on school news sent home with the girls every Tuesday.
- Class introductory meetings every year to explain class procedures and expectations.
- A text messaging service is used to remind parents of upcoming events or dates.
- School website
- A volunteer class parent may contact the class on a particular issue or for support/expertise
- Important notices/information are sometimes sent by email
- The parent notice board at the school entrance displays news and information for parents.
- Newsletters are emailed to homes each term.

- Areas of concern are often discussed in person or by phone. We are good listeners and do our utmost to solve any worries and take on board any constructive suggestions for the betterment of the school.
- Important information or correspondance is sometimes sent by official letter
- Meetings are organised to discuss important or sensitive issues.
- The girls are also reminded of school news and information at assembly, in class and over the school intercom.
- Through the School Families Initiative, we have started a pupil communication slot, run by pupils for pupils, over the intercom.
In return for this communication, we would ask each parent/guardian to speak to us individually if there is any area of concern or if there is something we need to know in order to help their daughter reach her full potential. Please be responsible and refrain from taking part in idle gossip, especially at the school gate . Thanks.
